Full job description

This is a Night Shift position

Duties of Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and Packing customer orders ready for dispatch

• Loading and Unloading vehicles

• Stock replenishment

• Manual handling of stock (heavy lifting will be required with this role)

• Ensure that stock is suitably rotated.

• General housekeeping of the Warehouse

• Ensure compliance to the Company and legislative Health & Safety standards

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience in a Warehouse or Production environment

• Experience using warehouse management systems (desirable)

• Physically fit and active as there is some heavy lifting involved

• Ability to work under cold conditions as Freezer and Chiller work is required

• Good Numeracy and Literacy skills

• Ability to work alone and as part of a small team.

• Valid FLT licence, with experience operating (advantageous).

Candidates will occasionally need to be flexible with their working times to suit the needs of the business and fulfill customer demand.
